The #PerfectBucketBag

Image
Hello world, I am alive!  Sorry for the hiatus girls, I have been busy with work and things are just sucking the life out of me right now. Oh did I mention that I am committed to a corporate job? Living that 9-5 life and I am still finding my way to balance between friends, boyfriend and family. Any life tips would be welcomed, seriously. While I am so torn between balancing everything, a parcel from Sometime  came and everything got a little better. It is amazing how retail therapy lifts up my mood, I am sure some of you girls will understand what I mean right?! Why I am so glad this parcel came? 1. I needed a bag for work. I want it spacious, pretty and durable. Isn't it exactly what this bag is?! Trust me girls, I stuff my pencil case, make up bag, charger, tupperware ( breakfast), and notebook in this and there are still ample space left. I feel like Doraemon sometimes because I always just magically have everything inside my bag. 2. It says M...

Outfit Diary #4

Haven't dressed up for a while since work has been piling up and I am still hooked on Shameless. So here is a rare outfit post for April! 90% of this outfit is from Yesstyle so you can imagine how crazy I went shopping on their site when Sarah, their social media executive told me I could choose 5 items that I wanted. Everything arrived within week after my order was placed and that is so impressive given that delivery usually takes more than 1 week for my other international parcels. The parcel was so big it was actually opened by the Malaysian custom authority to check. But everything was fine, the parcel arrived back at my doorstep safe and sound! I love online shopping so much you know, greatest invention since sushi.     Gonna keep this post short because I gotta check on my freshly baked cheese tarts I have some serious work stuff to get done. Very serious I promise.

Fun Fats Episode #3: Botanica & Co

Image
How did I end up having 3 episodes of Fun Fats in a row?! I guess that says alot about my priorities...   Last weekend I met up with Clarisse, my ride or die/ deskmates since high school as she came back from London. We decided on trying out Botanica & Co to see what is the hype all about!     Entrance to the restaurant     The Bar Table which was recommended by users on Zomato as the best seat. Didn't sit here though!   Homemade Muesli (RM21) We were doing brunch so Muesli feels just right! Drizzled with honey and a dollop of greek yoghurt, this bowl of goodness just opens up our taste buds for more. I love the generous amount and variety of nuts and the berry compote which is hidden in the middle of the muesli bowl. It may look small but it was VERY filling. We were only about half way through but we had to move on to the burger because we were both getting full. It took us sooo long to deci...

Sweater Weather

Image
Living in a tropical country, a sweater could be the most impractical number to own in one's wardrobe. But yours truly here is a big sucker for thick, knitted and oversized sweaters PLUS a hoarder so you can imagine how many sweaters I have collected over the years. Pearl white, beige white, beige, all kinds of texture and colors but the only place I could wear them was my campus library. So since I will not be wearing it often, I had to go for a more subtle and versatile color tone so I can get the maximum wear out of it. This sweetest shade of lilac makes the perfect addition to my wardrobe. You would think that lilac is hard to pull off, but it goes so well with denim doesn't it? I would so wear them with some black leather skirt as well.  And I am so digging the whole embroidery jeans trend! They speak so much for an outfit in the easiest way. You can find a similar one from She In here and here  which are both gorgeous.  I also jumped on the Mule Loa...

I have been eyeing on this pinstripe culottes ever since I saw them on my favorite bloggers. It was love at first sight because the striking colours blend so well together and the pinstripes are in vertical form so it elongates any silhouette. Of course the outfit would have already been Insta-worthy with a simple tube or bandeau top and belt, but I wanted to add a little edginess with my favoriteeeeee denim jacket from She In ( also because I am feeling a litte down with the weather). In these photos I was wearing my new pumps from AMI Clubwear  but later on I popped into my most trusted Stan Smiths since I was expecting a long day of walking ahead. I feel really "korean" whenever I wear this jacket with my sneakers, so I went on and wore my super huge hoop earrings from Forever 21.      Oufit Details : Denim Jacket : She In Top : H&M Shoes : AMI Clubwear Belt & Clutch : Bash Clothing Sunglasses : Sunglass L...

Third post of the week! #Accomplishement So life after uni is surprisingly... boring sometimes. And enduring with the anxiety of waiting for results to be out makes it even worse 😢 I try so hard not to think about it but I just can't get it out of my head. Ok rants aside. I have so much more time to dress up now! Those laced up heels I have been saving for special occasions are now my everyday shoes. Since we were just going out for brunch and some shopping, I put on my favorite stripes button down from H&M, some ripped shorts and my Stan Smith for a fool-proof ootd. I also threw on a denim jacket so it doesn't look too plain and did some serious accessorizing. You can see I am still a rose-gold person aint I 😏 Outfit Details Denim Jacket : Thrifted Top : H&M Shorts : H&M Watch : Rosefield Bangles : Laverra

Outfit Diary #2

So I officially graduated last December. I had so many things planned out in my head but the top of the list other than to expand Bash, is to blog more often. Blogging more often also means giving myself more reasons to dress up of course, so here comes my first series of outfit diary. Outfit Details : Bomber Jacket : Sue & Caleb Top : Berskha Jeans : Coming up on Bash ! Heels : Zalora Bag : Adelle Crossbody Bag from The Sophia Label Recently I have been so in love with silver-toned and atheleisure outfits. I used to prefer a more feminine and pink hue but I am really digging the clean white T look. These jeans that I wore are actually more Korean-inspired with the ripped ankle but I am starting to see highstreet brands playing around with their jeans' details like these 2 from Zara : Of course, silver toned jewelries are now my go-to accessories. I have been wearing my Nicole Vienna so much because it is my only silver toned watch! N...

About a month ago Anticlockwise  sent me this Blush Pink Boyfriend Blazer along with the Laced Up Blouse in Camel for my Melbourne trip. Unfortunately I didn't get to wear this blazer because the weather was too cold for it! Couldnt even think about rolling up my sleeves for OOTD... So I saved it to be worn back home since the material isn't too thick for tropical weather. Well, not in a shopping mall at least. I love how soft the pink hue is and how much it reminds me of the one Dr Kang wore in DOTS.  Here I am also using Miss Socialite clutch which is a generic version of the Baby Chi Chi clutch in my previous post . The size and cutting is identical except this one has a vibrant tricolour stripes inspired by Thom Browne's signature. Another no-brainer way to make your outfit look NYFW-worthy.   👅
