My Current Favorite Shoes

Thank you for the overwhelming response yesterday about my shoe collection! I personally have at least 30 pairs of shoes but I am only going to show you my favorite 6 that I have been wearing frequently in the recent months. You will realize that I am into nude/earthy shades because I just think that nude colour is the perfect shade to elongate your legs and to be honest, they are just as versatile as your black heels!


1. The Basic Must Have Pumps

 
You need a pair of these for your everyday wear! I love my sky-high heels, but let's be real, they are unpractical. So a pair of basic round toe chunky heel like this one from Ami Clubwear is going to do your legs a favor at the end of the day. I picked a chunky heel design because it gives so much support and stability, I don't hesitate a single bit even if I have to wear them for the whole day! And looook at that dusty rose colour, they remind me so much of elegant ballerinas.

 2. The Classic Strappy Heels

 
Don't like to cramp your toes together for the whole day? Try these suede block heels from ChristyNg. I fell in love with these babies at the first sight and fell even deeper when I put them on! These are literally the most comfortable strappy heels you can find. I love how the straps are thin but yet not too hard on the feet and the soles are slightly padded to add comfort. Now you may think that brown color may be too intimidating to pull off, but you will be surprised at how versatile it actually is! Well, they also come in other colours if brown isn't your cup of tea.

3. The Ever-Classy Heels

 
It is easy to see why these babies from Amiclubwear made it to my top 6. Don't they remind you of the classic Chanel heels?! While I would love to have a pair of Chanel in my closet, I am not one to splurge thousands on one pair of shoe. I love how they replaced the classic Chanel leather shoe with this quirky transparent body! The problem with these is they are IMPOSSIBLE TO WEAR. They look pretty on your feet but 15 minutes walk in them will give you hell. The point-toe part especially! But oh well, they are still really gorgeous though.

4. The Statement Lace Up Heels

 
MY FIRST LOVEEEEEE. These are literally my first love because they were the very first present my boyfriend has gifted me. I remember lusting over them the first time I saw them in Zara but I just couldn't bring myself to buy them knowing that I won't wear them often. Few weeks later during Christmas, Zara had a massive sale and these gorgeous gladiator heels went down to RM130!! A whopping RM100 discount and they had the last pair in MY SIZE so voila, he got them for me as christmas present. In these 3 years I wore them less than 5 times but every time I put them on, I get sooo many compliments!
 
Unfortunately, these are long sold out and I can't find any substitute on Zara's website.
 

5. The Basic Black Boots


 
I live in a tropical country where the sun is blazing all year round. Hence, owning a pair of suede boots is almost "redundant" because I won't get to wear them in anytime of the year. So I had to search high and low for a basic chunky boots that is practical to walk around and does not make me look like I am only 3 feet tall. This is just the perfect pair! They are not too tall in height and the ankle-cut design elongates my legs so I am grateful. I also made sure the heels are chunky so I won't end up wearing them only for photoshoots.

6. The Ultimate Sneakers

 
To be completely honest with you, I don't even wear heels on a daily basis. Most of the time, I am in sneakers because they are just so much more practical! These Adidas NMDs are another present from my boyfriend and they cost A BOMB. While I am not entirely sure if these are worth the whopping RM700 price tag, I am still very much in love with the colours. They go perfectly with your weekend outfits and even some dresses! I can totally wear these with my floral midi skirts.
 
 Another 2 sneakers I would recommend you to get are the Classic Vans and Adidas Stan Smith which are also my favorites but they are too worn to be featured here 😂

I have never really been open about this but one thing I am most insecure about myself is my nose area where I am almost ALWAYS struggling with blackheads. It is common for your nose to be victim of blackheads because it has the largest pores which means that it secretes more sebum ( oil). My Must-Go Places In Tokyo

It has always been me and my boyfriend's dream to travel the world but the top of our list has always been Japan. It was a perfect trip for us because we are not really into sight seeing and we prefer keeping our itinerary flexible so we get to really enjoy every destination. The theory we both agreed on is that since Japan isn't 12 hours flight away and it's not a super expensive place to travel to, we would prefer going back again rather than cramping a few major cities at one go.
